It was only a matter of time before A Quiet Place would step into the video game scene, as the premise of the franchise seems like it will translate well into gameplay. According to Todd Hollenshead, Head of Publishing at Saber Interactive, " A Quiet Place is the first game will be releasing by an external studio from growing Saber publishing label." Saber Interactive, a worldwide studio with offices in a variety of countries, will be publishing the A Quiet Place game.
The former studio has co-developed many recognizable titles including Cuphead and Lara Croft Go, while the latter specializes in story-driven experiences across a variety of mediums. ILLOGIKA, a Montreal-based studio featuring many industry veterans, is developing the game with the help of EP1T0ME, a Texas-based studio with offices throughout the United States. Studios attached to the project include iLLOGIKA, EP1T0ME, and Saber Interactive, the developers of the upcoming, and recently delayed, Evil Dead: The Game.
"This first official video game set in the terrifying A Quiet Place universe will deliver an original story and gameplay that captures the compelling suspense, emotion and drama for which the series is famous," Saber Interactive writes. The news comes through an official press release by Saber Interactive as well as the launch of a new website, describing the basic information of the game over a mysterious campground scene. Paramount Pictures announced today that there is an A Quiet Place video game in development. This year finally saw the release of the delayed A Quiet Place 2, picking up immediately after the events of the original film, and expanding the world to show that there are, in fact, other survivors out there. Capitalizing on the series' success, Paramount Pictures has announced that an A Quiet Place video game is currently in development.Ī Quiet Place's premise may not be the most revolutionary-a family surviving against a monster who can only track its prey through hearing-but the execution of the premise is why audiences are still thinking about these films. Still, there are some surprising beasts and creatures that may not be as big, but they could still take Godzilla down. The A Quiet Place film series has become one of most popular horror-thriller franchises of the past few years. Of course, most classic monsters wouldn't even stand a chance, mainly due the size differences.
So, that begs the question: what monsters can beat Godzilla? There aren't many, but there are definitely some classic movie monsters that could dethrone the king. He may have started off by stomping on human cities, but he's become our best defense against other monsters. When it comes to monsters, it seems like Godzilla can't be beat. He was even a Marvel Comics character for a brief period of time, and at one point got shrunken down to human size and got into a fight with Dum Dum Dugan. He's fought with and against countless other monsters, most famously King Kong in King Kong vs Godzilla (1962).
Over the decades, however, he's become known as the king of the monsters. Originally, Godzilla had a pretty straightforward goal: to wake up and then smash the nearest city. Created in response to Japan's (totally justified) fear of nuclear weapons, Godzilla is an ancient giant sea monster awakened by the powerful atomic blasts. While it wasn't the first giant monster movie, it's one of the most famous and popular. In 1954, Godzilla changed the course of movie history.
